ECSI Wilderness First Aid training provides 2 year certification for the assessment and treatment for ill or injured people in a remote environment where definitive care is more than an hour away, and the prevention of emergencies in remote locations. Each BSA High Adventure crew is required to have one or two persons certified in Wilderness First Aid.
Prerequisites:
1) Participants must be 14 years of age or older at the time of the class.
2) All students must have current CPR certification with a live instructor (not an online-only CPR course) that expires more than 1 year after class. Please email your certificate contact listed below.

3) Students must take the online pre-course from ECSI, and complete it with an 85% score on the required test. This will take about 8 hours to complete. Multiple attempts are allowed for the test without additional charge
